Miscellaneous:
- Parent-Teacher conferences will be held on November 5th and November 7th. A conference time slip was sent home last week. We look forward to meeting with you to discuss your child’s progress. See the master schedule here – Cooley Conference Schedule.
- The Scholastic Book Fair will be at Georgetown next week. Our class will preview on Monday and shop on Wednesday. Help your child get excited about some new books!
- Goodies Factory fundraiser items will be delivered on Tuesday, November 13. Please make arrangements to pick up your order at Georgetown elementary between 3:00 and 5:00 PM that day.
Math: Unit 3: Multiplication and Division with Fractions.
- Students should continue practicing their math facts using Moby Max.
ELA: In ELA, we are wrapping up our book club discussions and using the evidence we’ve gathered to plan our literary essays focusing on character analysis.
- Reminder….The students are expected to read 100 minutes a week. As a parent please initial the log when they read at home, showing you confirm your child has read for the minutes recorded.
Social Studies: We’re beginning our next unit called Three Worlds Meet.
