Class-Voted Read Aloud: What Lane? by Torrey Maldonado
We voted on our first read aloud of the year: What Lane, by Torrey Maldonado! This story is a soft entrance into some discussion about racial tensions, friendships, family, and places of belonging. It’s a great first step into our collective thinking as a class. I encourage you, if you haven’t already, to have some conversations about race as a family. Read more about it to support our conversations at home HERE.
